Accenture moved from a 20K SF space into a space half that size. In their previous space they had 107 seats with a 60% utilization rate so they realized they could minimize their real estate to maximize the utilization. They also wanted to provide a variety of meeting and collaboration spaces to provide employees with choice and control, away from their desk. The former space only had three conference rooms – they’ve now upgraded to seven.

The LOTH Experience

Accenture was looking for a partner that could collaborate with their A&D firm to find solutions that fit the budget and met design criteria. They are standardized nationally on Steelcase.

In an effort to enhance their company culture, collaboration spaces were widely varied: from several 1-person phone booths by HUSH, to the large Co-Create Room with maximum flexibility built in through Mobile tables. Flexible access to power (Thread) and A/V support were the utilized to provide accessibility to power and data points. To retain and attract employees, a custom coffee bar was added, interiors were updated, individual lockers for visitors and a full width outdoor patio the 16th floor were added as amenities.

Success of the project was largely due to very consistent project meetings and project updates through the end including the punch list process. The Accenture employees have been extremely positive in their feedback to the Client Team Leader, Doreen Noble.
