Balancing Dual Identities in the Heart of Times Square

LOTH partnered with BHDP to bring 84.51°/Murray’s Cheese New York City office to life, creating a tranquil yet energetic environment that harmonizes two strong corporate brands within a high-visibility Times Square setting. Through early design collaboration, precise procurement, and strategic installation coordination, LOTH delivered a refined workspace that embodies 84.51°’s culture while supporting flexibility, collaboration, and timeless design continuity.

Challenge

LOTH brought to life BHDP’s vision for a space that balanced two bold corporate identities with a calm, intentional work environment at 84.51°’s New York City office. The team needed to ensure furniture selections, lead‐times, and installations were seamless in a high-visibility Times Square location.

Vision

BHDP’s design emphasized natural materials, a neutral yet warm palette, and an integration of brand motifs, and flexible common areas for collaboration and client interaction. Our task was to furnish work zones, open collaboration, meeting rooms, focus rooms, respite rooms, and communal areas in a way that reinforced that design language, provided comfort, and maintained a high degree of flexibility.

Collaboration & Process

We worked closely with BHDP from early in the design process to select furnishings that met aesthetics, budget, durability, and branding requirements. Internally, LOTH structured procurement to ensure alternate options for long lead items and worked closely with our Network dealer in New York City to schedule precise deliveries and installations that aligned with BHDP’s construction timeline and the constraints of working in a dense urban setting.

Result

The finished 10,000-square-foot office delivers a refined, tranquil workspace that still carries the energetic character of 84.51°, enhanced by lush biophilic touches and flexible common areas. BHDP’s design narrative is carried through in every selection, from furniture to shelving to gathering spaces, and LOTH’s performance in procurement and installation helped the project stay on schedule and present a polished, professional space for employees, clients, and visitors alike.
