Sarnova was ready to take a major step forward in how it supports and engages its people. Rapid growth, evolving work styles, and a strong commitment to employee wellbeing led to the creation of a new headquarters in Dublin, Ohio.
LOTH partnered with Sarnova’s leadership and project collaborators from the very beginning, from site selection and space studies through planning, furnishings, and final installation—to deliver a headquarters that reflects Sarnova’s mission, values, and vision for the future.
Challenge
Sarnova needed more than just a bigger office, they needed a headquarters that could truly keep up with the company’s growth and evolving culture.
The challenge was to:
- Find a building in the Dublin, Ohio area that could support a growing headcount
- Create an integrated mix of private offices, meeting spaces, and shared amenities
- Prioritize employee engagement, wellbeing, and connection in the design
- Incorporate natural materials, proper lighting, and café destinations on every floor
The existing environment wasn’t equipped to deliver the warm, modern workplace experience Sarnova wanted for its people, partners, and community.
Vision
The vision for the new HQ focused on:
- A warm, welcoming arrival experience for employees and visitors
- Spaces that support collaboration, connection, and everyday interactions
- Integrated amenities that support mind–body balance and wellbeing
- A design language that reflects Sarnova’s caring, purpose-driven culture
This vision came to life through features like the Buffalo Café with abundant natural light and organic materials, walking paths and treadmill stations, and additional café spaces on each floor, ensuring employees have multiple touchpoints for refresh, connection, and informal collaboration.
Collaboration
A consultative, highly engaged process drove the project from day one. LOTH partnered closely with Sarnova leadership, the Columbus-based LOTH workplace and project team, as well as representatives from Steelcase, MA Design, Daimler, and Cresa. Weekly working sessions became the backbone of the collaboration. Each meeting focused on:
- Reviewing progress for different business units (Sales, Finance, IT, Shared Services)
- Aligning on space needs, adjacencies, and functional priorities
- Clarifying decisions, assigning next steps, and tracking milestones
By breaking the work into digestible deadlines and maintaining a consistent cadence, the team kept all parties aligned and motivated. LOTH served as a strategic partner, offering space studies, planning support, and solutions that connected Sarnova’s cultural goals with practical, high-performing workspace.
Result
Sarnova celebrated its new headquarters with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony attended by Sarnova employees, local dignitaries, representatives from the Governor’s office, development and project partners and the LOTH team.
In his remarks, CEO Brian LaDuke acknowledged how closely the finished space aligned with his original vision, calling it the space they are heading for to celebrate their people. Employees echoed his sentiment, sharing enthusiasm and appreciation for the new environment.
Standout outcomes include:
- A headquarters that visibly reflects Sarnova’s culture of care, engagement, and wellbeing
- Warm, light-filled social hubs like the Buffalo Café and floor-by-floor café spaces
- Wellness-driven amenities such as walking paths and treadmill workstations
- Flexible private and shared workspaces that support growth and evolving business needs
The Sarnova HQ now serves as a daily reminder of the organization’s commitment to its people – a modern, integrated workplace designed to support connection, productivity, and long-term success.
