A mind-boggling number of environmental standards exist today. It seems each day something is greener, better and commanding more attention than the standards of the year past. This CEU course is designed to define and compare leading sustainability programs in the market today. It specifically explains the key role furniture plays in meeting and maintaining each standard. BIFMA LEVEL®—LEVEL is BIFMA’s sustainability certification program for furniture—has a rating system, which will be outlined and utilized to demystify furniture’s role in sustainability.
