Bringing Boutique Energy to Life: Moxy Downtown Cincinnati Hotel by Marriott
The Moxy Downtown Cincinnati Hotel by Marriott brings a bold, boutique energy to the heart of the city. It combines historic charm with modern design. Partnering with Rolling Hills Hospitality, LOTH played a key role in bringing the hotel to life. LOTH managed furniture procurement, warehousing, logistics, and installation across guestrooms and public spaces. Our team ensured every detail aligned with Marriott’s Moxy brand standards. In addition, this delivered a seamless guest experience and an on-time opening.

Challenge
This project combined the complexity of a historic renovation with the demands of a new build. The need to coordinate with more than 95 different vendors as well as the steps for approval created significant challenges. For Rolling Hills Hospitality, securing a trusted partner who could manage procurement, warehousing, delivery, and installation from a single source was critical. LOTH was selected because of a long-standing relationship and local presence. In addition, its proven expertise in managing hospitality projects was important.

Vision
The vision was to create a vibrant, guest-centric hotel that embodies Moxy’s playful, boutique style. The design needed to adhere to strict brand standards. Every space was a priority – lobbies, bars, social lounges, and guest rooms all needed to reflect the signature Moxy aesthetic. LOTH brought value to the project by offering product alternates that balanced budget, brand requirements, and lead times. As a result, the guest experience was never compromised.

Collaboration
LOTH partnered closely with Rolling Hills Hospitality and The Society design firm to bring the project to life. Internally, the LOTH team developed detailed warehouse strategies. They organized furniture by room type to streamline installation. Additionally, they did “dry run” assemblies to ensure the onsite team could work efficiently once construction schedules shifted. Throughout the process, LOTH adapted to multiple rounds of design approvals and Marriott brand oversight. In addition, they managed the fast-paced hospitality timeline, all while maintaining alignment with ownership’s vision.

Result
The result was a successful, on-time opening of the Moxy Downtown Cincinnati Hotel. All guest rooms and public spaces were installed to brand specifications. This installation blended Marriott’s standards with the boutique energy that defines Moxy. Rolling Hills Hospitality praised the efficiency and adaptability of the process. At the same time, the finished hotel now serves as a lively destination for guests in downtown Cincinnati—an inspiring blend of hospitality design and flawless execution.
