Ronald McDonald House Charities

A Space Designed to Comfort, Support, and Serve More Families

Ronald McDonald House Charities partnered with LOTH to deliver a six-story expansion that blends home-like comfort with functional performance, creating welcoming spaces for families while supporting staff productivity and long-term impact.

Challenge

Ronald McDonald House Charities needed to expand their Cincinnati facility to serve more families while providing staff with productive, welcoming spaces to work. The challenge was to deliver a large-scale, six-story project on time and within budget while supporting both temporary and permanent space needs.

Vision

The goal was to create a home-like environment for families while enhancing staff engagement and productivity. Brand presence and thoughtful design needed to flow throughout administrative offices, common areas, and guest suites to reinforce the mission of comfort, care, and community.

Collaboration

LOTH partnered with Ronald McDonald House, Messer Construction, and GBBN Architects to provide thoughtfully curated furniture solutions and workplace services. Our team also delivered a temporary administrative space during construction, ensuring operations continued smoothly while the new tower was built.

Result

The completed 6-story expansion features new offices, meeting rooms, dining areas, lounges, and 177 bedrooms, providing an uplifting and functional environment for both staff and guest families. With curated solutions like cubicle workstations, private offices, and lounge areas, the RMH now supports its mission with spaces that will serve families for many years to come.
