Sarnova

A Headquarters Designed to Celebrate People First

Sarnova was ready to take a major step forward in how it supports and engages its people. Rapid growth, evolving work styles, and a strong commitment to employee wellbeing led to the creation of a new headquarters in Dublin, Ohio.

LOTH partnered with Sarnova’s leadership and project collaborators from the very beginning, from site selection and space studies through planning, furnishings, and final installation—to deliver a headquarters that reflects Sarnova’s mission, values, and vision for the future.

Challenge

Sarnova was growing quickly and needed a new headquarters to support an expanding workforce. At the same time, the team wanted to elevate employee wellbeing and engagement. However, the existing setup lacked a modern, integrated environment. As a result, it could not keep pace with organizational needs. Therefore, the challenge was to find a new building in Dublin, Ohio. The team also needed to design a workspace that balanced private offices, meeting areas, and café spaces. In addition, natural materials and wellness-focused amenities had to be included. Finally, the design needed to prepare the organization for continued growth.

Vision

CEO Brian LaDuke set a clear vision: create a warm, welcoming headquarters that people love coming to. The new space needed to support how employees feel, collaborate, and connect, not just how they work. This meant prioritizing natural light, intentional materials, flexible meeting spaces, and café destinations on every floor, including the signature Buffalo Café. Additional wellness-driven features, such as treadmill stations and walking paths, were included to support mind–body balance and reinforce the company’s culture of care and connection.

Collaboration

A consultative, fully integrated project approach was the key to success. LOTH partnered closely with the leadership team and worked alongside Steelcase, MA Design, Daimler, and Cresa to guide the project from early site selection through schematic planning and final furniture installation. Weekly coordination meetings with Sarnova leaders  ensured that every business unit, from IT to Finance to Shared Services, had a voice in the design. Clear agendas, digestible milestones, and consistent communication aligned all teams on the vision and schedule. This proactive, relationship-driven approach allowed LOTH to deliver thoughtful space studies, problem-solving insights, and solutions that matched their cultural and functional goals.

Result

Sarnova celebrated its new headquarters with a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by employees, local leaders, representatives from the Governor’s office, project partners, and the LOTH Columbus team. During the event, CEO Brian LaDuke praised the space as a true reflection of his vision for engagement and wellbeing, calling it “the space we are heading for to celebrate our people.” Meanwhile, employees shared their appreciation for the warm, intuitive environment and the thoughtful balance of amenities. With abundant natural light, integrated cafés, wellness spaces, and flexible collaboration zones, the headquarters supports connection and productivity while aligning with Sarnova’s mission and long-term growth.
