The Union

Challenge

As a new multi-family development, The Union required fully furnished amenity spaces that would differentiate the property in a competitive hospitality-driven market. The project demanded a cohesive FF&E solution across a wide range of shared indoor and outdoor environments, while maintaining quality, budget control, and a tight construction timeline.

Vision

The vision was to create luxury, lifestyle-focused amenity spaces that enhanced the resident experience and reflected the energy of urban Cincinnati. From welcoming interior common areas to highly activated outdoor spaces, the goal was to offer residents a variety of environments to work, relax, socialize, and recharge.

Collaboration

LOTH partnered with Miller-Valentine Construction and MA Design to deliver a comprehensive, turnkey FF&E solution. Through close coordination, phased delivery, and sourcing across a blended mix of manufacturers and retail partners, the team ensured each space aligned with the overall design intent while meeting functional and operational needs.

Result

Completed in August 2023, The Union now features thoughtfully furnished indoor amenity spaces and more than 11,500 square feet of fully activated outdoor areas, including a pool, lounge zones, and communal gathering spaces. The finished environments elevate the property’s hospitality feel, enhance resident satisfaction, and strengthen The Union’s position as a premier multifamily destination.
