It may surprise some, but Gen Z works in the office more than any other generation. Soon, the workforce will be primarily Gen Z workers, which is essential because this generation is shaping the workforce in a significant way. Work-life balance, developmental opportunities, and company values are some of the important benefits this generation is interested in.

When thinking about future employees, we should also consider what things this newer working generation requires in an office setting. Companies are seeing an influx of requests for individualized workspaces and privacy; this could be due to the pandemic and only being able to work remotely. Whatever the cause, Gen Z believes those things can create a more productive environment.

As this new generation takes over the workplace, we can anticipate a wave of change. While change can be challenging, we can expect positive changes like a better work-life balance, higher productivity, and more in-office employees.
