Challenge
Previously, Lument operated out of two separate downtown buildings. Teams were spread across multiple floors. As a result, impromptu collaboration was limited. At the same time, the company wanted to reduce its real estate footprint while supporting a growing need for teamwork and connection.

Vision
To move forward, Lument envisioned a single, unified workplace. One location. Four renovated floors. The goal was to create a space that encouraged collaboration while still supporting focused work. Additionally, the environment needed to feel welcoming, modern, and flexible—designed for both employees and visitors alike.

Collaboration
From the start, LOTH worked closely with Lument to align solutions with budget and project complexity. Because of this, a wide range of furniture options at multiple price points was explored. LOTH also supported the relocation of nearly 100 employees from one building to another. Meanwhile, strong communication with the operations team helped keep timelines on track. The team provided new workstations, private offices, and ancillary furnishings. In addition, existing furniture was inventoried, reconfigured, and reused where possible. Together, the team placed a strong emphasis on the café—selecting elevated finishes, natural light, and functional furnishings to create a central gathering space.

Result
Ultimately, the consolidated workplace transformed how employees connect. The new space supports a variety of settings, from traditional meeting rooms to informal lounge areas. Today, the café serves as the heart of the office—used for both social and professional interaction. Completed in December 2020, the 160,000-square-foot space now supports 250 employees and delivers a more connected, collaborative, and efficient work experience.
