New State-of-the-Art Healthcare Facility
Memorial Jerome Medical Center chose LOTH Columbus as a premier partner to help bring a new facility to life with long-term impact to the community.
“Our goal is to deliver a medical facility that offers the Jerome/Plain City community access to high-quality, convenient care, This project both represents our commitment to best-in-class healthcare accessibility but also signals our organization’s continued economic growth and development. By expanding our services to the southern region, we were able to deliver the same high-quality, nationally recognized healthcare that Memorial has become known for.”
Spence Fisher, Executive Vice President of Memorial Health

Challenge
Memorial Health was faced with the need for a healthcare presence in a vastly growing area. Union County is a beacon for a growing populace backed by an expansive and diversified business mix. They needed a facility that would be a long-term asset for the community providing increased access to local, patient-focused healthcare and utilizing the latest technology and best practices.

Vision
They envisioned a facility that brings together specialty care, occupational health, urgent care, lab testing, imaging, and therapy and rehabilitation services in one location while meeting strict budget and timeline goals. By consolidating these services, Memorial Health aimed to provide convenient, high-quality care close to home, streamline access to primary, specialty, and urgent care, and deliver a seamless, patient-centered experience that supports continued growth and community commitment.

Collaboration
Memorial Health partnered with LOTH, Champlin Architects, Hplex, and Corna Kokosing early in the project. Through a Design Assist approach, LOTH collaborated to validate the project programming, budget, and space optimization to improve patient flow, and proactively address challenges.

Result
The Memorial Jerome Medical Center now serves as a 40,000 sq. ft. centralized, state-of-the-art healthcare hub. It improves patient access, enhances care coordination, and delivers a more convenient experience. The facility also strengthens Memorial Health’s presence in the region and provides a long-term asset for a growing community.
“We appreciated working with the LOTH team on our new Memorial Jerome Medical Center. The furnishings feel sturdy and solid, but still comfortable and appealing for our patients and staff. From the first design conversations through installation, their team was easy to work with and genuinely cooperative with our staff. Planning went smoothly, questions were handled quickly, and the install stayed on track without creating disruptions. It’s clear they care about both the look and the longevity of what they provide, and that made the whole experience a positive one for us.”
Corry Mason, Director of Facilities of Memorial Health
