The Steelcase showroom featuring Creative Spaces, a range of technology-enabled workspaces designed to foster creative thinking at work, was awarded best large showroom at NeoCon 2017 by IIDA and Contract Magazine. NeoCon is North America’s largest design exhibition and conference for commercial interiors.
Winners were ranked based on originality in design, visual appeal, effective use of materials, and remarkable use of color, texture, lighting, and graphics. The jury panel this year included included Kelly Ennis, IIDA, The Verve Partnership; Ginger Gilden, IIDA, IA Interior Architects; Jane Hallinan, IIDA, Perkins Eastman; and Steven Smith, IIDA, Christopher Architecture & Interiors.
